Halsey visited 10-year-old social media sensation Bella Thomson, also known as Bella Brave.
On Sunday, the superfan shared a TikTok documenting her encounter with the singer, 29.
Bella was diagnosed with Hirschsprung’s disease, SCID (severe combined immunodeficiency) and dwarfism. Her conditions caused her to struggle with a dysfunctional bowel and a deficient immune system. “Hirschsprung’s disease is a rare condition in which some nerve cells in the colon are missing, preventing stool from passing through the body,” according to the Canadian Digestive Health Foundation. Bella’s condition affected her entire colon.
In the video, the two are seen sitting next to each other while talking. Halsey tells Bella she’d make an “amazing voice actress,” adding, “I bet she’d go pro in no time.”
The Grammy nominee then suggested makeup and costume ideas for when Bella becomes a famous actress. Halsey also showed off her tattoos to the curious child and shared the meaning behind several of the tattoos.

“From hospital stays to honest conversations, meeting Halsey was like a dream come true,” the TikTok caption began.
“We talked about hopes, dreams, travel, acting, songwriting and the power of unwavering friendship and connection. Thank you, Halsey, for being a light in Bella’s darkest days. 💫. We love you very much.”
She also added hashtags with words of encouragement such as “grateful” and “inspiration” and highlighted her new friendship with the tags “friendship goals, “bestie”, “bff” and “dream come true”.

Halsey shared the video on her Instagram stories.
“Bella and her family have been like my soulmates for so many years… I tried to act cool, but this was the best day ever!” the “Colors” singer wrote, adding: “She’s the kind of person who just thinks, out of nowhere , and they are smiling 🎀.”

Bella received a bowel transplant in October 2023. After the successful procedure, Halsey sent Bella a care package that included the singer’s favorite candy, copies of the singer’s recent albums, and a hand-drawn photo of Bella and Halsey together.

Last month, Bella shared a TikTok video serenading her fans with her favorite Halsey song, “Eastside.” She sang directly into the microphone and wore a flower crown with a pink jumpsuit and denim dress. As she finished her performance of the single, she bowed to the camera and the audience.
