My Name star Han So-hee is currently receiving treatment after injuring herself on the set of her upcoming drama Gyeongseong Creature, according to Sports Chosun on Wednesday, August 3. Gyeongseong Creature will again showcase the action skills of the Nevertheless star as she did in My Name. In reality, the said injury appears to have resulted from the filming of one of these sequences. The much-awaited historical drama takes place in the spring of 1945, at a difficult time for South Korea. Two young adults fight for survival against the eponymous beast in a fantasy period drama. Park Seo-Joon also appears in the highly anticipated drama.
Fans reacted quickly as the agency checks the injury.
Han So-hee was injured in the face during the filming of the program, according to South Korean news agency Sports Chosun on August 3. The actor was then taken to the emergency department of the hospital. According to the same story, the actress injured herself while filming an action sequence, and the injury near her eyes may require surgery. Following the revelation, many of the actor’s fans took to social media to express their concern and wish her a speedy recovery.
Soon after, a representative from Han So-agency hee’s 9ato Entertainment allayed some of the fans’ concerns. Although the actor suffered a facial injury during the filming of Gyeongseong Creature, the agency said it was not serious and did not require surgery:
“Han So Hee suffered a facial injury during the filming of ‘Gyeongseong Creature’ today (August 3). Fortunately, the damage is minor. He is not in a position to need surgery.”
They also announced that the shooting schedule will continue as planned for the time being. The agency, on the other hand, will make sure that Han So-hee gets enough rest and fully recovers before resuming filming. This is not the first time the actor has been injured while filming an action scene. In her latest film, the action My Name, the actress took on the role of a woman on a quest for revenge. While the action scenes thrilled the audience, Han So-hee collapsed during the filming of the drama due to injuries and strains sustained during one of the sequences.
Meanwhile, Park Seo-Joon will play Jang Tae-sang, a rich man from Bukchon who has a naturally good perception and understands how to navigate the world. Han So-hee is set to play Yoon Chae-ok, a missing persons investigator. Kang Eun-Kyung from Dr. Romantic wrote the script for the drama directed by Jung Dong-Yoon, who previously directed Stove League.
