Harry grew up playing tennis ball cricket in his village. In 2012, at the age of 14, Harry went with his friends to the Kadapa Municipal Grounds where cricket trials were being held to select the under-14 district level cricket team. Harry tried his luck in the trials and was selected for the summer camp held in Kadapa in 2013. After being selected, he shifted all his focus towards a career in cricket. He played for Kadapa’s under-14 and under-16 cricket teams before joining the ACA Academy Grounds in Vizianagaram in 2016. His bowling skills further improved under the guidance of ACA Academy Grounds coach CD Thomson.

Domestic cricket
In 2018, Hari was selected in the Andhra Pradesh squad for the Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy T20 tournament. He made his domestic cricket debut for Andhra Pradesh in the Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy match against Kerala on 11 January 2018. He finished his first domestic match with figures of 4/12 in two innings.
