Chef Ben Ford and his wife Emily Ford are ending their marriage after 14 years together.
According to a court filing obtained by PEOPLE, Emily, 44, filed for divorce from the chef, 57, citing “irreconcilable differences.” Ben is one of actor Harrison Ford’s sons from his first wife, illustrator Mary Marquardt.
Ben and Emily, who married in 2009, have been separated since February 2022, according to the documents.
They have two children, Ethan, 23, and Waylon, 13. According to the documents, Emily is seeking joint custody of Waylon. Ethan is not mentioned in the documents because he is not a minor. Emily also requested that the court terminate the spousal support award.
Emily shared a birthday tribute to Ben on September 22.

In September 2022, she made a post about their anniversary and seemingly alluded to their decision to split.
“Today, on our anniversary, I want to celebrate the evolution of our love. We have moved through the dissolution process carefully and without frivolity or malice, following this choice to follow our north stars as something important. This decision to follow our own paths was a strong and courageous choice and a source of interconnectedness and strength,” she wrote.
