Harry Jowsey Jokes Rylee Arnold Has Learned ‘Patience’ Dealing with His ‘Man Child’ Vibes (Exclusive)

Harry Jowsey may be 26 years old, but he’s still a kid at heart.

The Too hot to handle The star recently reflected on his success in the 32nd season Dancing with the starsduring which he reached the quarterfinals with professional partner Rylee Arnold.

Jowsey credits Arnold, 18, with many lessons he’s learned after spending nearly an entire season dancing with her — and he may have taught Arnold a thing or two in return.

“Probably patience,” Jowsey tells PEOPLE with a laugh. “How to handle a big kid, I mean. She taught me to dance, which was really amazing. I don’t know what I taught her, probably how to deal with a male child.”

Harry Jowsey says he is rumored to be dating DWTS Rylee Arnold’s costar is ‘a little unfair’

Jowsey also laughs about her relationship status with Arnold. The pair fueled dating rumors during a season of the ABC reality competition series — though they’re keeping quiet about the situation for now.

And, in fact, they haven’t even finished dancing yet. Jowsey will be a special guest joining Dancing with the stars Live tour starting in January.

Looking back on her time on the show, Jowsey calls her elimination alongside Arnold during Taylor Swift’s night a “bittersweet” moment.

“We were so close to the final. It started to feel real, it started to feel like, ‘Ah, there’s a chance we can do this, to make it there,'” he says. “But then it was also good because we were both exhausted and it got so hard. My body was falling apart. Mentally it was getting so serious. It was still fun, but it wasn’t as fun as the first time we did it, the first dance. The fact that we made it this far was kind of crazy. It was really crazy.”

Jowsey, who can now add dancer to a resume that already includes reality TV star and podcast host, says that as his star continues to rise, he’s enjoying getting to know him more and more.

“I think people are now starting to realize how hard I work, which is really great and makes me feel good. “I feel like I’ve been stressing myself out for so long and I think people would be surprised if they knew the reason why I came into this space and how important mental health is to me,” he says.

Jowsey also gets to know himself a little better, thanks to his guest appearance I’m dating Harry Jowsey on Spotify where listeners come forward with their real-life relationship problems and relationship dilemmas.

“When I hear other people’s problems, it makes me think about how I would approach it and then it helps me in the future when I say, ‘Okay, maybe I’m not the best here or this person is probably not the best best for me,’ and it helps me to I get more of a third-party perspective on my own situation, which is always good,” says Jowsey.

He adds: “I feel like sometimes when you’re in something, you don’t really see anything else. You’re just in this bubble. So when you get a chance to give people advice about their relationships, it makes you step back a little bit from your own and look at them.”

Next Dancing with the stars tour, Jowsey hopes to venture into the world of acting. He has been busy with auditions and says his dream is to work with Will Ferrell or Kevin Hart.

“[Acting] is great. And there’s more longevity and it’s a career and you could actually build it instead of just getting drunk and being silly,” says Jowsey, nodding to his past on Too hot to handle.

And while he plans to pursue acting, his other love is comedy – although it may not be his strong suit.

“I’m not a comedian and I can’t dance, so I don’t know what to sell, but I really want to bring a bunch of people together and make them feel good,” he says with a smile. “I really want to do a comedy festival or something to just make people laugh.”
