Harvey Guillén Reveals ‘Original’ Items He Still Has from What We Do in the Shadows’ Early Episodes (Exclusive)

Harvey Guillén will not let Guillermo go so easily!

Speaking to PEOPLE recently mid-release Desire on 4K, Blu-ray and DVD, the 33-year-old actor revealed that he and his What we do in the shadows actors are “in the middle of filming” the sixth and final season of their hit FX vampire spoof series.

Asked if he would take anything from the set as a memento of his time, Guillén jokes as he nods fiercely: “I wouldn’t dare. How dare you? I won’t even admit it.”

The actor admits he took his character’s “original glasses” from the show’s pilot episode, which aired in March 2019.

“I didn’t know the pilot was going to get picked up, but I fell in love with the character so much that I thought, ‘If this show doesn’t continue, at least I’ll have a small part of her character,'” says Guillén.

“I always like to take a little piece,” he continues. “So I have Guillermo’s original glasses from the pilot still with me, and I was lucky enough to have one of Guillermo’s original sweaters. So I have a little bit of him forever.”

Although it’s “hard to hang out as a group” for Guillén and his cast mates, since most of them live in the UK and he’s in Los Angeles, they still make time for each other off set when they can.

“Whenever we work, Kayvan and I go out to dinner. We have little friendly snacks,” he says Blue Beetle actor. – I am very close to him and his fiancee.
