As they approach the vehicle, two men get up from a nearby bench and approach.

Within seconds one of the thugs punches the man in the head and all hell breaks loose as another thug charges in.

The victim falls to the floor as she frantically tries to protect herself before the teenager tries to drag her attackers away.

In separate recordings, he can be heard cursing and screaming at the attackers.

The group ends up punching the wall as a third thug joins in and punches the man as he tries to grab his bag.

Amazingly, the child, who had been watching the attack from across the sidewalk, chases after the group as they scream in terror.

Fortunately, an innocent bystander swoops in and drags the child away before the attackers calmly sneak away.

The Metropolitan Police have launched an investigation into the 5pm terror attack in which all three attackers escaped.
