Heather Rae El Moussa and Tarek El Moussa made sure Brayden’s 9th birthday was extra special!
On Sunday, August 18, Selling Sunset The alum, 36, gave fans a behind-the-scenes look at her stepson Brayden’s shark-themed bash.
Documenting the gathering on her Instagram Stories, Heather Rae shared a look at “Bray’s shark-themed party” from the day before, with pictures showing the deep-sea decor and photos the pre-teen took with her dad.
Brayden is the son of Tarek, 42, and his ex-wife Christina Hall, who also have a daughter, Taylor, 13. Tarek and Heather have a one-year-old son, Tristan, who they welcomed together in January 2023.

Kicking off the birthday photos, Heather posted a picture of the sign guests saw when they entered Brayden’s gathering, which read: “Welcome to the shark party.”
From there, she showed off an “adorable” table with an inflatable shark, shark gummies, a blue coaster and several shark-themed mugs, bracelets and glasses. On the table was the sign “Swim with sharks”.
Brayden also posed for a birthday photo with his dad Tarek, as the pair smiled in flip-flops, while Heather captioned the image: “My love 🤍🍰.”
After celebrating Brayden, Heather also shared an additional Instagram Stories post showing a glimpse of an “early birthday breakfast” for “daddy” Tarek, who turns 43 on Wednesday, August 21.
Tarek later also shared a photo of himself and Brayden at a shark party the day before, posing behind a cardboard shark and smiling together.

While Tarek and Heather are now in the midst of their family’s busy birthday season, the duo also recently enjoyed some family time during a recent vacation in the Caribbean.
In a joint Instagram post on Aug. 3, Tarek and Heather gave fans a sneak peek of their beach getaway with the family. The vacation included brightly colored mimosas, time with Heather’s parents, and even a little family dance break.
Heather, who married Tarek on October 23, 2021, opened up about the worries of traveling with such a large group in a later Instagram post, where she revealed that she and her husband can “stress” each other out when they’re on the move.
“Tarek and I are not the best travelers together, I would say. Always stressing each other out,” she admitted in a video on Instagram. “And then we recover pretty quickly, but there’s always that . . . moment of tension.”
Still, even with a bit of travel tension, the family seemed to be enjoying their time away, as Heather wrote in a caption this month that “moments like this make you slow down, stop and appreciate the little things. 🫶.”
