Jenn Tran Calls Sasha Farber the 'Best Roommate I've Had Yet' as Romance Rumors Continue to Swirl (Exclusive)

Jenn Tran teases the status of her relationship with Sasha Farber.

Bachelor star spoke to PEOPLE at Kathy Hilton’s annual holiday party on Tuesday, Dec. 10. The reality star talked about her life situation with Dancing with the stars professional, but has been coy about whether they are dating after months of speculation about their romantic relationship.

“He was a really great roommate who feeds me,” she says. “You know, I get animal therapy from his dogs, which are very sweet. Well, yes, he was a really good roommate. The best roommate I’ve ever had.”

When asked if she’s looking for a romantic relationship after her intense breakup with Devin Strader, who she got engaged to at the end of her time as The Bachelor Season 21, Tran explains that she’s focused on prioritizing herself.

“I want to continue learning about myself,” she says. “I’ve learned so much about myself in the past year — more than I thought I would — so I’m excited to see what else I’ll learn about myself in this next year.”

Still, it wouldn’t hurt to have a little love this holiday season. Tran notes that he doesn’t want any material gifts, but he has something else in mind.

“I really have everything I could need after the year I’ve had and so all I need is a nice hug and just a few words of affirmation,” she says.

Tran and Farber first met when they were paired as partners in season 33 DWTS in a decision made at the last minute Bachelor’s After the bombshell Final Rose segment where Tran revealed her and Strader’s messy split.

Although they were eliminated mid-season, the two continued to spend time together and document their lives on TikTok, with Tran joking that they were starting “private rehearsals.” She even posted a video of herself knocking on Farber’s door, with the sound: “When one door closes, another one opens.”

Derek Hough, one of the DWTS judges, he commented: “I give this a 100 🙂 happy for you two ❤️.”

The couple then fueled more rumors when it emerged that Tran was living with Farber, which she later confirmed during an appearance on the Brandi and Tish Cyrus podcast, Sorry, we’re Cyrus.

After Brandi asked if there was “dating potential” between Tran and Farber, Tran teased, “I can’t predict the future in any way” before adding that they are “BFFs for life.”

Tish then jokingly called Farber Tran “boyfriend,” to which she replied, “If you say boyfriend, he’ll freak out.”
