Henry Winkler’s Granddaughter Roots for His Favorite NFL Team Thanks to Travis Kelce and Taylor Swift

Henry Winkler has another Chiefs fan in his family!

On Wednesday, Barry actor, 77, shared a photo on X (formerly known as Twitter) of his granddaughter wearing a T-shirt celebrating her newfound favorite football team, the Kansas City Chiefs.

Winkler’s granddaughter smiled as she held out a T-shirt that read, “World’s Biggest Team Taylor Swift Boyfriend Fan.”

The 33-year-old singer reportedly enjoyed her time with Kansas City Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce. Tagging him in the post, Winkler wrote, “@tkelce our granddaughter.”

Winkler has been married to his wife Stacey since 1978. The couple have children Max, 38, and Zoe Emily, 42. He also has a stepson, Jed Weitzman, 51, from his wife’s previous marriage to attorney Howard Weitzman. He has six grandchildren – India, Ace, Lulu, Jules, Gus and Francis Joan.

Kelce is known to be a fan of the actor, wearing a “Football, Family, Fonzie” shirt at a game last November.

Although the NFL star has no children of his own, he is a devoted uncle to brother Jason Kelce’s three daughters — Bennett, 7 months, Elliotte, 2, and Wyatt, 3. Speaking to PEOPLE earlier this year, Jason’s wife Kylie Kelce celebrated the bond between her girlfriend and their uncle.

Although she tried to tell Travis that he can refuse many of his nieces’ requests, he is a good sport about the game.

“Our oldest, she’s our boss. She’s our circle leader and she just has demand after demand for him. And I’m like, ‘Trav, you know you can tell Wyatt no?’ ”

“He was like ‘Yeah, I don’t think I can.’ And so he will do it,” she said.

“She’ll say, ‘Jump up and down.’ He’ll do it. ‘Roll on the floor,’ he’ll do it. ‘Be a pony.’ He’s going to do it. So he’s all in when it comes to being an uncle. He’s the epitome of an uncle, completely.”
