Hilary Duff Shares Pregnancy Update: ‘Been Trying to Hide This Thing for a Minute’

Hilary Duff is doing great!

After revealing she’s expecting her fourth child, her third with husband Matthew Koma, the 36-year-old singer shared the first glimpse of her growing baby bump on her Instagram Story on Tuesday.

Duff’s post, which came just hours after she announced her pregnancy, featured a selfie of her lying in bed showing off her baby bump in a white tank top.

“I’ve been trying to hide this thing for a minute,” she captioned the video.

The Lizzie McGuire the alum previously shared that she and Koma are further expanding their company with a snapshot of her family’s holiday greeting on Instagram.

In the card photo, Duff can be seen posing with her three children and Koma in their bedroom while they are all wearing pajamas. She has one hand on her baby bump as she pulls a shocked face as her husband sits on the bed with one eyebrow raised.

Meanwhile, their 4-year-old daughter Banks hangs from the bed and 2½-year-old daughter Mae sits on the floor with a guitar. Son Luca, 11, who Duff shares with ex-husband Mike Comrie, can be seen sitting in a recliner with a video game controller.

“So much for quiet nights,” reads the front of the card. “With love, the Duff-Bair-Comrie team.”

Duff also revealed the back of the card, which read: “Happy Holidays. Buckle up Buttercups, we’re adding another one to this crazy crowd!” and showed solo shots of her three children.

“Surprise surprise!” the How I met your father the star captioned the post.

Following her exciting news, Duff was inundated with congratulations from her famous friends, including herself Dozens cheaper actress Alyson Stoner.

Koma shared the happy news on his own Instagram. The singer-producer reposted the family vacation photo with the caption, “Baby #4 Loading…” He also tagged the location of the image as “Vasectomy Clinic.”

In an interview with PEOPLE in 2021, Duff praised Koma, whom she married in 2019, as a father.

“He was such an amazing dad right out of the gate,” she said. “During this time of nursing and craziness, he said, ‘I’m just going to be your assistant because I think that’s how I’m going to help you the most in this time frame.’ He has a really amazing way of looking at the big picture where I’m very much like, right here-right-now — and he’s zooming out.”
