Travis Kelce’s jersey sales continue to rise, and he’s giving credit where he believes it’s due.
In Wednesday’s episode New heights with Jason and Travis Kelce, Jason Kelce shared that the brothers have the “No. 1 and 2 best selling jerseys in the UK,” and the Philadelphia Eagles center had a certain group of fans to thank in particular.
After both he and Travis, 34, agreed it “makes no sense” for their jerseys to dominate across the pond, Jason, 36, asked: “Lotta Swifties over there in the UK?”
“It has to be — that’s the only sane solution to all of this,” Travis replied, admitting that he also thought his girlfriend, Taylor Swift, was to thank for the sale.
Jason continued: “I think I’m only No. 2 because I don’t think a lot of people in the UK just watch football and go, ‘Oh, I heard this Kelce is dating Taylor Swift’ and happen to buy my jersey.”

Kylie Kelce Supports Taylor Swift on Social Media Amid ‘Crazy’ Internet Rumors
“Shout out to Taylor,” the Kansas City Chiefs tight end announced, before also giving credit to Jason’s wife, Kylie Kelce, who he said was really responsible for his brother’s jersey sales.
“They are all fans of Kylie Kelce. So they support Kylie, of course,” Travis said.
Since his and Swift’s romance first went public in September, and right after she made her first appearance at a Chiefs game, Travis has seen a huge surge in interest in his career — and his jersey sales nationally.
A spokesperson for Fanatics confirmed to PEOPLE in September that the athlete “saw an almost 400% increase in sales” of his jerseys, just one day after Swift, 34, watched the Chiefs beat the Chicago Bears alongside her brother’s mother, Donna Kelce. The sale secured Travis a spot among the “top 5 most marketable NFL players,” according to a spokesperson.
The same goes for the NFL. The league has embraced the newfound global attention it has received as a result of the 12-time Grammy winner’s presence at so many Chiefs games this fall.

But Travis wasn’t always a fan of the spotlight. He admitted in October that he thought the league “went a little overboard” in terms of coverage of Swift’s presence at Chiefs games, but the NFL told PEOPLE that the pair “was a pop culture moment that we leaned on in real time because it’s the intersection of sports and entertainment .”
The league added that the romance has led to an “incredible amount of positivity around the sport.”
NFL commissioner Roger Goodell also shared his thoughts on the relationship, as he told the CBS Morning co-host Nathaniel Burleson said last month that “it’s great for the league to have that kind of attention. So we welcome that.”
“They are happy, they seem to be enjoying their relationship. That’s great, in and of itself,” said Goodell, 64. “But it kind of connected more Taylor fans and more NFL fans. In a way, to see that they have a relationship now [fans] they have to do with our game and with Taylor.”
As for Swift herself, she admitted in her TIME Person of the Year cover story, “Football is great, it turns out,” adding, “I’ve been missing out all my life.”
