Baby Hilary Duff has arrived!
The Lizzie McGuire alum, 36, welcomed her fourth baby, her third with husband Matthew Koma, on Friday, May 3, she announced on Instagram on Tuesday. Sharing photos from Little Plum Photography of her home water birth, the actress took a moment to pay tribute to her newborn daughter in her caption.
“Townes Meadow Bair 🧸 , now we know why she made us wait so long… She perfected those cheeks!” wrote Duff. “I dreamed of holding you in my arms for months, and the past 5 days of getting to know you, staring at you and smelling you were moments of pure magic.”
“We all love you like you’ve been here the whole time beauty. 5/3/24,” the new mom of four wrote in her caption.

Hilary Duff’s four children: All about Luca, Banks, Mae and Townes
The couple share daughters Mae James, 2½, and Banks Violet, 5, and eldest Duff co-parent Luca Cruz, 11, with her ex-husband Mike Comrie.
Duff announced on Instagram that she is expecting her third child with Koma in December 2023 in her family’s Christmas card, which featured a photo of her stroking her belly.

“So much for quiet nights. With love, the Duff-Bair-Comrie crew,” the front of the card read, while the back confirmed the news: “Buck in Buttercups, we’re adding another one to this crazy bunch!”
Duff loves the “chaos” of raising three children, she told PEOPLE in a 2021 interview shortly after welcoming Mae.
“I have help, but the babies just want their mommy,” she said at the time. “Even Luca is still like, ‘Mom, mom, mom.’ Mama cooks the thing the right way, and Mama packs the bag the right way.”

The “Come Clean” singer also said she’s “so in love with all my kids” — and the busyness that comes with it.
“I love when everyone is full of energy and the house is buzzing. You never know what the day is going to bring or what your child is going to say,” she told PEOPLE. “We’re in the thick of it and I feel good.”
