“Life throws a lot of things at us, and the best advice I’ve ever been given is to look for the small wins,” she says as she begins her makeup routine. “So my first victory of the day is getting out of bed. The second one will be my preparation for the day, and I love Elf’s ‘Camo’ moisturizer, I absolutely love it.”

Next, the athlete, who plays for Boston’s PWHL team, adds some color to her face, placing a dot of the brand’s vibrant pink blush on each cheek and using that same brush to blend it out.
“My second favorite day prep product is elf’s liquid blush. Nothing like a good, pretty, tiny pop of color to help me attack the day and get that confidence boost,” she says.
The knight then announces that it is finished. By keeping her makeup simple, she accentuates her natural beauty, allowing her to feel ready for a new day.
“Let’s go chase those little victories together,” she says as the pep talk ends.
