Monday, September 9 episode Today with Hoda and JennaThe 60-year-old host showed off her Sneex footwear, a new design from the creators of Spanx.

“I’ve never been happier in shoes in my life,” Kotb said at the start of the episode. She paired her black and white Sneex (hybrid sneakers and heels) with a simple black dress. “They were made by Sara Blakely from Spanx. They feel, and I’m not kidding, they feel like sneakers and they have a heel. They’re so comfortable, I could wear them anywhere. I’ll never take them off for as long as I live.”

When Hager, 42, asked her co-host if she planned to wear them “every day,” Kotb said, “Every day. You’ll hate them.”

Blakely, who founded Spanx shapewear in 2000, unveiled her latest innovation in August. The Sneex is a sneaker/heel hybrid that “blends the style of a traditional high heel with the performance and comfort of a sneaker,” according to a press release.

“We feed off the phrase that ‘beauty is pain’ … but I don’t believe it has to be,” Blakely said via post. “As a consumer, I have wanted to solve this problem for years.”

The patented design, available in three styles and ten colors at Sneex.com, features fine nappa leather and suede from Italy and Spain. The Sneex is handcrafted in Spain with prices ranging from $395 (for styles like The Icon) to $595 (The Tepper) in full sizes 5-11.
