She wrote: “Sleep tight Uncle Ray. We are heartbroken to say goodbye so soon.

“Thank you for all the love and laughter. The children will always remember when you showed up, took off your hat and watched with joy as the packets of Haribo fell to the floor. We will miss you very much.”

Holly, 42, simply commented with a heartbroken emoji.

Family friend Nicole Appleton said: “I’m sorry dear sending love xx.”

This morning chef Clodagh McKenna posted: “Sending so much love to all your family. May they rest in peace.”

Tamzin Outhwaite shared: “I’m so sorry Kelly. Sending you all the love and light.”

The Willoughby sisters work together on lifestyle brand Wylde Moon, which Holly founded in late summer 2021, with Kelly in the role of CEO.

The family’s heartbreak comes after a close friend of Holly’s told the Mail the TV star was advised by her bosses to dress a certain way while working on children’s TV earlier in her career, sparking a fresh row over misogyny.

They said: “Before I even knew who Holly was, I saw her without a bra and asked the director who she was and why she was dressed like that.

“I said she had to wear a bra, it was children’s television.

“A little later I reminded Holly about it and said that they were making her not wear a bra, that the shows weren’t really for children.

Holly, a mother of three, began her TV career appearing on S Club TV and Ministry of Mayhem.

She became a household name in 2006 when she started hosting Dancing On Ice with Phillip Schofield.

Three years later, she landed her dream job when she was hired to host This Morning alongside Schofield, following the departure of Fern Britton.

She is now one of the UK’s most in-demand TV presenters, and earlier this year she was crowned Britain’s most powerful TV presenter.
