How ‘I Dream of Jeannie’ Star Barbara Eden Stays Fit at 93: Home Workouts and ‘Chocolates, of Course’

I dream of Jeannie star Barbara Eden, who turned 93 in August, said she relies on at-home exercises to stay in shape – but is prone to a sweet treat or two.

I used to work out all the time, Eden told Fox News. “I took spinning classes and then I worked with weights with a trainer… [But] when covid hit it ended my hard training. Now I have an exercise bike and lift five pounds. I use very light weights, but they are good for your bones.”

As the Mayo Clinic explains, “By strengthening your bones, strength training can increase bone density and reduce your risk of osteoporosis,” a disease that can cause your bones to become brittle and break.
