KYLEE Walker’s wife Annie Kilner spent years plotting to cash in on his scam, friends have told The Sun.
A desperate mother-of-four reportedly asked at least four footballers’ wives for advice before marrying the love rat to ensure financial “security” in case she strays again.

Insiders claimed Annie was considering her options back in 2019, when she first dumped Premier League soccer ace Kyle, 34, over his affair with Ex On The Beach star Laura Brown.
It comes after we revealed yesterday that Annie, 31, had demanded £15m in cash from the Manchester City defender to mend their relationship after he fathered two children with Lauryn Goodman.
In messages seen by The Sun from five years ago, before the couple tied the knot, Annie glumly admitted: “It’s the same old s**t, he’s been doing it for ten years,” before asking friends for their opinion about how she financially protected herself in the future.
Annie, who began dating Kyle at 16, also seems to have predicted that he would betray her again, writing to a friend at the time: “He’s going to have a lonely end . . . “
She married the footballer in 2021 but kicked him out of their £4million Cheshire mansion in January this year after it emerged he had fathered a second child with Lauryn, 33.
‘Cut your losses and run’
Friends said they believed it was only a matter of time before Annie ended their 17-year relationship for good.
The source added: “Annie married Kyle for love, but she also knew deep down that she had to do it to ensure financial gain for herself and their children.
“He has been coming up with an exit plan in terms of finances for some time. Annie is actually very sharp and no one’s fool.
“People might assume she’s a doormat, but Annie is smart and she knew she needed to marry Kyle to have access to his money.
“When she first dumped Kyle in 2019, Annie sought advice from her married Wag friends about her options and what she should do.

“Some said she should leave him then, cut her losses and run away. But others warned that marrying him would be the only way she could really secure herself financially.”
Friends told us that Annie herself later agreed, revealing: “Marrying Kyle would give me security if he ever did it again.”
Messages sent to friends by Annie shortly after temporarily giving Kyle the boot in 2019 also reveal her despair at his wayward antics off the pitch.
Examining her soul after the cheating scandal, Annie then wrote to a friend: “I’ve been his backbone all these years. I helped him become who he is.”

A friend said: “Annie was at her wits end and nobody seemed to be helping her, so she started talking to her married friends about what to do.

“She had been with Kyle for over a decade by that point. In her eyes, she gave everything for their relationship and he cheated on her in return.”
While Kyle and Annie were still separated in early 2020, he slept with Lauryn Goodman — a short-lived affair that resulted in the birth of their son, Kairo.
Later that year, he held a sex party in isolation and issued a full apology.
He said at the time: “I want to apologize to my family, friends, football club, fans and the public for letting them down.”
Despite his infidelities, Annie took Kyle back and he secretly proposed to her that summer.
Before they tied the knot in a low-key ceremony in November 2021, Annie confided in friends that when Kyle begged for another chance, he promised to get married.
And friends said Annie went down the aisle hoping they could work things out as a family.
But she was comforted a little by knowing that if Kyle cheated again, she would be able to divorce him and get her share of his money.
They added: “Annie has been with Kyle since she was a teenager. She felt that they had true love and by then they already had children together.
“Annie desperately wanted them to be a family, but she knew she had to think with her head, not just her heart.
“She married him out of love, but also to protect herself. She wanted to stake her right to the money.”
Just over two years after their wedding, Annie’s worst fears were confirmed when reality TV wannabe Lauryn texted her around Christmas to reveal she had given birth to her second child with Kyle.
Lauryn now has four Kairos and one-year-old Kinara with the footballer – who pays her huge sums of money for their two children.
The humiliation of Kyle’s cheating was compounded for Annie by the fact that when Lauryn told her that Kyle had cheated again, she was pregnant with their fourth child.

Annie has since allowed Kyle to move back into the Cheshire paddock they share with their four boys on a “trial basis”.
But friends told The Sun that Annie’s motive was just to let Kyle have time with their children while she weighed up her options – including a demand to be paid around £15m.
A source said: “Annie’s worst fears came true when Kyle cheated on her again, but this time she has the reassurance that she is his wife.
“That’s exactly what she was thinking five years ago when Kyle begged her to take him back and promised to marry her.
“Annie spoke to lawyers with Kyle about putting the money into her account for her and the boys.
“He has a fortune of almost £30m and she wants half of that. She stuck by Kyle through all the humiliations and beatings from internet trolls and forum gossip.
‘Thick and thin’
“Kyle accepts what he did and has been open to talks and has spoken to lawyers about Annie’s position.
“He was desperate to make amends, but he knows that this has pushed Annie to the limit.”
Friends said Kyle’s recent court battle with Lauryn over child support added to Annie’s uncertainty about whether she should take him back.
Documents released by a judge in July revealed how Lauryn used Kyle as an “open chequebook”, demanding an astroturf pitch and air conditioning for the £2.4m house Kyle bought for her and their children to live in.
It also takes care of the children, including help with nanny, transport and nursery costs.
Those close to Annie told The Sun it was smart for her to see another woman earning money.
A source said: “Annie has created this family unit with Kyle and has been by his side through thick and thin.
“She was a loyal partner and a good mother to his children and she wants what is rightfully hers.
“She had no idea the extent to which Kyle was paying Lauryn until the court case and she didn’t hit the roof. He hates the thought of cashing in.
“Annie’s trying to do it with Kyle, but she doesn’t know what’s going to happen.
“But going forward, she knows her future is secure, whatever they decide to do.”
