James Tupper asserts that Anne Heche transferred her inheritance to him and not to her eldest son, Homer Laffoon. According to court documents obtained by Page Six, Heche sent a copy of her will to Tupper and two others in January 2011. Tupper further argued that Laffoon would not be able to manage his mother’s inheritance because he was only 20 years old, unemployed and estranged from Heche at the time of her death. According to reports, Laffoon had changed the lock of his mother’s apartment, where she lived with Atlas, and his brother was unable to access the inside. According to James, Atlas and Laffoon have not spoken to each other since Heche’s death. Meanwhile, neither Laffoon nor Tupper representatives have responded.
