Most of the entrepreneur’s wealth is obtained through his business and enterprise activities. Robert, majoring in political science and English literature, was forced to work for the minimum wage to support his family.

After that, he worked as a third AD (assistant manager) until he changed jobs and sold computer equipment to Logiquest. Robert rose to the position of general manager of the company. The entrepreneur left Logiquest in 1990 to start his own company, BRAK Systems. The company founded in his basement specializes in Internet security software. AT&T Canada bought the company for more than $30 million in 2000, ten years after it was founded. After the success achieved, Herjavec took a break from the business and took the job of Vice President of Sales at Ramp Network.
