TEACHER Rebecca Joynes’ web of lies has been blown up after it emerged she sent a series of flirtatious messages to two pupils she slept with.
Pedo began a relationship with the boys when they were 15 while tutoring them in maths at a school in Greater Manchester.

Joynes, 30, ended up having a child with one of the students while she was out on bail for having sex with another.
She broke down as she was convicted today on four counts of engaging in sexual activity with a child, including two while in a position of trust.
During the trial, the teacher tried to portray herself as “lonely” and said she craved attention because she was going through a breakup at the time.
But even though she factory reset her phone to cover her tracks, police were able to find messages that blew up her web of lies.
Instead of a desperate teacher looking for companionship during the pandemic, Joynes is revealed as a predator who lures teenagers into sex.
Her nefarious crimes began in 2021. She gave boy A, who was 15 at the time, the first ten digits of her number and asked him to guess the last one.
He told the court he texted her “hi” and when she didn’t respond he told her in class: “So you’re just ignoring me then?”
The pair initially began texting in a “normal” way, but Joynes then asked if she wanted to meet up.
He said: “I remember saying, ‘Are you kidding me?’
“And she said, ‘No, I didn’t’.”
In one series of messages, the couple discuss how he’s going to her apartment, and the teenager asks him if they’re still involved or not.
Joynes replies, “You better come now that you told me you did.”
In another exchange, they joke about another student joining them before Boy A tells his teacher he should be “the only one.”
Joynes replied, “Obviously it’s just you.”
Boy A then said: “That’s right. The best student so far.”

The teenager also told Joynes that he doesn’t like maths anymore because it’s “too much of a distraction now”, before adding that it’s “because of work”.
The teacher replied, “It’s better that it’s work.”
Joynes later “groomed” the boy – splurging on a £345 Gucci belt during a shopping spree before driving him home in her white Audi.
A smiling Joynes even told him to “shut up” when he mentioned his age before the pair had sex twice in her flat.
Despite being warned not to tell anyone, Boy A sent a picture of the teacher lying on the bed as proof that they had slept together.
The next day, his “distraught” mum received a call from the school saying an allegation had been made.
When confronted, Boy A initially claimed it was just a “stupid conversation” with his friends that got out of hand.
But his mum later received another call – this time from the mother of a teenager who Boy A claimed was staying when he was actually with Joynes.
A police investigation was launched in October 2021, and Joynes was subsequently arrested and released on bail on the condition that she not contact any children under the age of 18.
Despite this, Joynes then “brazenly” turned on another student – Boy B – when he was 15.
It turned into a sexual relationship when he turned 16 after Joynes sent a racy photo of her bottom while wearing panties.
She also wrote the teenager an angry message describing him as “perfect”.
It read: “I know we are struggling at the moment and we are both under a lot of stress.
“But I really hope we can figure something out to keep this going for a while longer.
“Every inch of you is perfect and you are everything I dream of.”

After he turned 16, the boy went to Joynes’ flat where she sat and kissed him before she took his virginity.
The couple later had sex at least 30 times in “numerous different places”.
Joynes told Boy B that it was “almost impossible” for her to get pregnant because she had polycystic ovary syndrome.
But he went to her apartment for a “date night” and got a pizza, a scattering of rose petals and an Ann Summers scraper with sexual activities on it.
Joynes then gave him a growth that read “I love my dad to the moon and back”.
Boy B told the court he reacted by saying: “What the fuck?”
He said Joynes was crying and told him: “I don’t know if I can do it myself”.
The boy also told jurors he tried to end the relationship after he believed he was being “emotionally abused” by Joynes.
The teenager added: “I would try to end it and say ‘you’re such a weirdo, you’re actually a rascal, go find someone your own age’.”
He added that he spent 18 months of his life “with a pedophile”.
The girl was taken from Joynes after an emergency court hearing 24 hours after she was born and is now in the care of her teenage father.
The teacher, who held a child’s hat in court every day, was allowed contact three times a week for three hours.
I was in love with him. I was pregnant with his child.
Rebecca Joynes on her relationship with Boy B
During her testimony, Joynes tried to portray herself as someone who simply felt “lonely” and wanted attention.
She told how she went through a breakup during the pandemic while adamantly denying that she had a “strong” sexual attraction to 15-year-old boys.
Joynes also told jurors she had ruined her “dream job” by making stupid “mistakes” – but claimed her sexual relationship with Boy B only started after he turned 16 and they both left school.
The teacher said, “I was in love with him. I was pregnant with his child.”
But the court was told Joynes was simply a “gaslighter” trying to portray herself as a victim.
‘She is a sexual predator’ – the police react to Joynes’ conviction
Detective Constable Beth Alexander, from our Child Protection Investigation Unit in Salford, said: “Firstly, I would like to thank the victims and their families for being brave enough to come forward and co-operate with us in our investigation.
“Rebecca Joynes is a sexual predator. She was their teacher and they rightly trusted her.
“But Joynes decided to abuse her position and used it to groom two teenagers.
“We welcome today’s verdict and now wait for Joynes to face the consequences for his actions.
“I would like to thank the officers who worked closely with the victims and their families to establish the full circumstances of this case, as well as the investigative team for their hard work and dedication throughout this investigation.
“The two victims and their families have asked for their privacy to be respected now and to move forward – they all want to get on with their lives and put this ordeal behind them.”
She was also accused of “barely trying to win sympathy” by visibly tucking a child’s hat belonging to the daughter she had with Boy B into her trousers.
Joe Allman, prosecuting, said: “She’s aware of the optics here. She’s not stupid.
“Is Miss Joynes sharper than she says?”
Joynes has denied six counts of engaging in sexual activity with a child, including two while in a position of trust.
She will be sentenced later.
