Fans have since fallen in love with the Food Network star’s memorable lines and coined words Diners, Drive-Ins and Dives aired its pilot in November 2006, and “Flavortown” is undoubtedly one of its most legendary.

And no one knows that better than his son, Hunter Fieri, who admitted exclusively to PEOPLE that he can’t choose just one of his father’s iconic monoliners because “there are so many” to choose from.

After a few seconds of thought, one thing immediately came to mind. “‘I’d put that on a flip-flop!'” Hunter cites his father’s unconventional compliments in an episode of “Triple D” in his early years. “Who says that?!” he adds with a laugh.

Hunter — who is following in Guy’s food-centric footsteps as a chef and restaurateur on the rise — chewed on the question for a bit longer before finally repeating more of his dad’s memorable lines.

“Funkalicious, Just legendary, Out of bounds, killer,” he enumerates before coming to a terrifying realization.

“He has all these one-liners, I feel like I have to stop myself from using some of them… Now I have to make up my own stuff,” he says, adding that he feels pressure to keep up with his talented wordsmith father.

However, Hunter reveals that the pressure shouldn’t be too much to handle as his family is “used to saying random things”. Guy, referred to by fans as the “Mayor of Flavortown,” also gave viewers his fair share of “random” shoutouts during the episodes.

Here are a few examples of what Guy proclaimed on the show: “You’re going crazy with your tzatziki,” “Slamma jamma, I love that lamb,” “So much salami, call my mom,” and “It’s time to face the cabez.”

Hunter says he’ll be ready when it’s time to throw out “random” compliments when he takes over as mayor of Flavortown in the future. “They come naturally just because of how I was raised,” he said.
