India qualified for the final of the World Test Championship (WTC) on 13 March although the fourth Test match against Australia ended in a draw. New Zealand’s victory over Sri Lanka secured the Blues a spot in the World Test Cup final for the second time in a row.
Australia secured their spot in the WTC final with a victory in the Third Test against India in Indore, leaving them with just one spot. A match is awaited at Christchurch, where both teams compete fiercely. Sri Lanka’s loss to New Zealand did not help them as they were unable to continue their WTC campaign. However, it has brought a sense of relief to India as they prepare to face Australia in the highly anticipated final.
