early years
Before becoming an actor, Ieshaan worked as a cabin crew member with Jet Airways International (JAI), though he always had a passion for acting. In 2014, he went to Mumbai for six months of intensive training related to JAI work. Two months after the training, Ieshaan quit his crew job in Delhi and returned to Mumbai to pursue acting full-time. Soon, he took up bodybuilding and is now known for his “chiselled figure.” The actor-model first walked the ramp as a model in Goa when he was apparently just 17 years old.

Ieshaan made her debut in the television show Rishton Ka Chakravyuh which aired on Star Plus in 2017-2018. In 2018, he also appeared in Voot Select’s web series “Kaushiki”. However, Ieshaan became well known in the industry after her performance in the MTV show Fanaah. According to Segal, he was selected for the role after multiple auditions. He has also worked in another show Zindagi U-Turn on MTV channel. Ieshaan appeared in several episodes of “Pyaar Tune Kya Kiya” on Zing channel. In 2021, Ieshaan got his big break in the industry when he was selected as one of the contestants in the 15th season of the reality TV show Bigg Boss aired on ColorsTV. In an interview, when the actor was asked about his thoughts on participating in the show, he said:
I was invited to participate in Bigg Boss OTT but I couldn’t accept it as I was busy with other projects. This time, when they came closer, I couldn’t say no. I’ve always been a huge fan of the show and this is what I’ve always wanted. I found this concept very interesting and exciting. Now, when I get a chance, I give 100 percent effort. Because not only me, but my mom is also a huge fan of the show. Since 2013, she has been telling me, Ieshaan, you must be Bigg Boss. “

This is not the first time that Ieshaan has been associated with the show Bigg Boss. In 2016, he appeared in the promotional video of Bigg Boss 10 along with former Bigg Boss 13 contestant Mahira Sharma. Many people speculated that he was chosen as a contestant in Bigg Boss Season 10. However, Ieshaan denied all the rumours.

Ieshaan also starred opposite singer Barbie Maan in the music video “Viah” released in March 2021. The video became an instant hit, garnering over 16 million views in just one month. Sehgal was praised for her performance in the video. In October 2021, he featured in another music single “Hunter” with Bani J, which had nearly 3 million views on YouTube in the first few days after its release.
