I’m a Celebrity has been embroiled in a new ‘sexism’ debate after viewers slammed Fred Siriex’s comments towards Danielle Harold.
During last night’s installment of the ITV show, Fred, Danielle, Frankie Dettori, Marvin Humes and Josie Gibson took part in The Barbaric Barbershop.

Celebrities had to face their fears by putting their head in a box filled with their worst nightmare (creepy reptiles).
Fred and Marvin had to deal with snakes, while Frankie had cockroaches with him, Danielle dealt with rats and Josie got spiders.
But it all became too much for This Morning’s Josie and she quickly escaped the box, leaving a huge gap between Danielle and the rest of the gang.
It meant the EastEnders star found it difficult to communicate with them, at one point telling them: “Boys, can I have some bits please, the more I ask, the angrier these rats get.”
When they returned, Danielle was revealed to be “struggling” after Josie uttered the terrifying “I’m a celebrity” line.
However, those watching at home were very frustrated by the comments.
One said on X: “Did Nigel just assume the girls were struggling? Sexist!”
Another pointed out: “Don’t disparage Danielle while ‘Girls Struggles’. Fred, you could have said no to Danielle – she actually saved you all by coming up with the idea of one person bringing all the stars together.”
Meanwhile, others were not impressed with head chef Fred’s comments to Nellie and Josie after they cleaned up the dishes.
Another fumed: “Fred says ‘You didn’t do a good job’..how sexist.”
This is not the first time that there has been an argument over sexism during the series.
Nell found herself at the center of one after viewers slammed her ‘discriminatory’ comments about men.
The YouTuber told Josie how impressed she was with the men’s work at the camp.
She noted, “So the men should go out, hunt, get the wood, start the fire, while the women keep the vibes going.”
“Yes,” Josie agreed, as the pair burst into laughter.
– That’s how it should be – added Nella. “Suffragettes fought for this.”
One fumed at X: “Imagine guys saying that – girls should be cooking, they’d be called sexist and probably fired.”
Another added: “Is Nella making a sexist comment? Add that to the list of annoying and stupid things she’s done.”
Tonight, fans will see the remaining celebrities on trial.
In a preview of tonight’s episode, Tony Bellew warns hosts Ant and Dec that they are “going to have a heart attack”.
As he waits for Nigel to finish his first lock underground, Tony observes a huge snake next to him.
He yells, “Ah this snake is huge. I’m going to have a heart attack.”
