The news didn’t go down well with fans, with one person commenting: “I’m devastated, Maura and Barry are gone. I didn’t want anyone to leave TBH.”

Another wrote: “Nooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooood

And a third added: “Barry and Maura were my two favourites, they completely failed, they’re both out.”

Love Island star Maura, 34, arrived late to the jungle alongside Reverend Richard Coles.

She immediately became a big part of the camp and delighted viewers with her funny stories and extreme reactions to the trials.

Speaking after receiving the boot, Maura said: “I’m really happy! I said it last night, I said it this morning, I said ‘It’s my time’, I had a hunch and my hunch is never wrong!”

Meanwhile, boxer Barry has become a father to the camp, especially Danny Jones.

Revealing his disappointment at getting the boot, Barry said: “Being the original Cyclone, I’m a bit disappointed with that slip and the clown look, it would be great.”

It came after Oti revealed that she will be going straight to Celebrity Cyclone after winning immunity.

The former Strictly star beat off competition from Maura, Coleen Rooney and Danny Jones to land the coveted ticket.

Afterwards she said: “It feels amazing, now I have to wash my underwear more!”

Now there are only six stars left to battle it out for the crown of King or Queen of the Jungle over the weekend.

Reverend Richard Coles – Former BBC radio presenter Reverend Richard Coles is late for I’m A Celebrity and is ready to spill the beans about his former employer. The former Communards and Strictly star said the BBC didn’t know its a**e from its elbow last year. An insider said: “Rev Coles will have a variety of stories to tell from his wild days as a pop star in the Eighties, to his appearances on Strictly and his later life as a man of the cloth.”
