During the nail-biting I’m A Celebrity results, hosts Ant and Dec revealed the outcome over a campfire, with Danielle and Tony Bellew in the bottom two.
However, it was Danielle who came out on the bottom.
In her interview with Ant & Dec, the blonde actress, who played Lola Pearce in the BBC soap, said the support of her fellow stars “got her through” the challenges of life in the jungle.
When asked who was the better cook between Josie and Fred, she took a swipe at the Frenchman, saying: “I’ll go with Josie. I prefer home cooking.”
Sam described Danielle as his “sister” as she left camp, and she agreed.
“He literally became my little brother,” she smiled, adding that they both got along because they were “crazy.”
Her departure comes after evictions came thick and fast this week.
Channel 4 actor Nick Pickard, 48, was the fourth to get the boot from the ITV series on Wednesday, after spending 19 days in the jungle.
His exit from the I’m Famous camp sparked rumors of a “repair” from stunned fans after they came down to him and This Morning host Josie Gibson, 38, in the bottom two.
However, Nick, best known for his role as Tony Hutchinson in Hollyoaks, was in good spirits when he appeared on Good Morning Britain on Thursday.
He said honestly, “It’s a great experience and very overwhelming.
“I’m glad to be out there.
“Half of you want to succeed and get to the final because you’re honored to be invited, but the other half is thinking and counting down the days, and if I go out now, I have six days in a nice place.”
A day earlier, First Dates frontman Fred Sirieix was the third evicted.
And Nella Rose was the second camper to be kicked off the show on Monday.
The first to get the boot from the camp was Italian jockey Frankie Dettori.
Before Frankie left I’m A Celeb, ITV viewers complained he had “disappeared from camp”.
Restaurant critic Grace Dent and actress Jamie Lynn Spears, who is the sister of pop star Britney, both left the show before the eliminations, citing health reasons.
