Profession
After completing his graduation in architecture, he started working as an architect at DLF, a real estate company in Delhi. Later, he started his own construction company, Bakshi Builders. In 2012, he released the song “Saturday Saturday” in collaboration with Indian rapper Badshah.
It is reported that he saved money and released his first solo album “Billionaire” in 2013.

In 2014, the Bollywood version of his Punjabi song “Saturday Saturday” was used in the film “Humpty Sharma Ki Dulhania”.
After the song became a hit, he took a two-year break to learn music production. In 2016, he shot to fame with the Bollywood song “Kala Chashma” from the film “Baar Baar Dekho”. The song was a new version of the hit Punjabi song “Tenu Kala Chasma Jachda Hai”.
He subsequently released many other songs including Madam Ji (2013), 36 Aayengi 36 Jayengi (2015), Tere Liye from Dilliwaali Zaalim Girlfriend (2015), Bad Wali Feeling (2016) and Nakhra (2019).

- He was criticized by his Sikh fans for dancing with a girl in a turban while holding a glass of wine in his music video. Therefore, he chose a skullcap instead of a turban in his music video. In an interview, he said,
Once, while filming a song, a glass of wine accidentally fell on my hijab and turban. The turban is something I’m very proud of and I didn’t want to disrespect it, so I started wearing a beanie instead.”
- In 2017, he was brutally attacked for stealing lyrics from a song by Indian rapper Badshah and using it in his own song Burberry Checks. Meanwhile, there were rumours that Indeep died in an accident. In an interview, he cleared all the rumours by saying,
I wrote the rap part of Kala Chashma. Then I went to the music company and provided them with all the proofs that the song was mine and they gave me due credit. I fought for it because it was my song. I challenged anyone who claimed that I had plagiarized Badshah’s song to prove it. It is surprising that an artist never writes songs in front of fans and never makes his work public before officially releasing it, so how can these trolls suggest that Badshah wrote the song? I am sure, I am sure, I am sure. These are fake fan pages where they put sponsored ads. Badshah was like a brother to me. I will continue to respect him. But professionally, our relationship was almost over. A video went viral that was so well edited that even I was surprised. Even news channels reported it. I had to tell everyone that I was still alive. My shows started getting cancelled because apparently I was dead. ”
