Well done, the viewers will probably never forget the beautiful shot, which was seen in the episode RHOP which was broadcast on Sunday, November 24. It was one of the few celebrations Dr. Wendy threw this season around her birthday.
“I joked that this was the 40th birthday that didn’t end, because on my real birthday in May we went on a girls’ trip to Lake Norman, and then when I got home, Eddie and the kids and I went to Paris,” Dr. . Wendy says. “I don’t normally celebrate my birthday now, especially after having kids because I’ve always been so focused on everything they need. But going into this new decade I felt like I wanted to mark its importance by doing something. So I thought, ‘Why not? would I throw my own big party?’ ”
The event, held at a private residence in Maryland overlooking the Chesapeake Bay, was themed “Dîner en Blanc” — French for “dinner in white.”
“If you follow me on social media, you know one thing I love is color coordination, and one of my favorite colors is white,” says Dr. Wendy. “Having just been to Paris, it seemed like the perfect subject.”
To help organize the party, dr. Wendy approached luxury event organizer and curator OB Curates.
The space was decorated with designer styles from Everything Luxe Decor, as well as furniture from All Modern Rentals and lounge seating from Rues Design.
Gold touches — including a gold bar serving made-to-order Liquid Lounge Cocktails with the Created To Create Co. menu. — helped give the space extra zhuzh, as well as oversized photos of dr. Wendy and captions (by Aurey’s Creations) marking what has been dubbed the author’s “chapter 40”. There was even a gold Eiffel Tower that framed the dance floor, with an image of the building as well as Wendy’s name, printed by Vanguard Event Solutions.
Lush white flowers fell from almost everywhere the guests looked, including the center of the two long rectangular white dinner tables and the four round gold tables where the guests sat for dinner. Select Event Group Rentals provided all table decorations.

As for food, dr. Wendy enlisted the help of celebrity chef Dee to cook an authentic Nigerian menu. She made a multi-course sit-down meal that was so much sweeter with a slice of that aforementioned cake from Hera’s Decadence. Later, Chef Blacque continued the Nigerian delights with some late-night bites, while the Funnel Fare food truck served up funnel cakes and fried Oreos.
“Food was so important to me because I am an Easter person,” says Dr. Wendy. “Along with my family, my other love is food. So I had to make sure the food was right, because no one goes hungry at Dr. Wendy’s party. And for the record, everyone ate well.”
Music was also a big part of the day. A harpist set the mood as guests arrived, before DJ Mic Smith got the crowd on the dance floor (with a little encouragement from emcee George Bannerman).
Photographer Javon Roye and videographer Final Shot Media made sure the event was documented from all angles.
