The Golden BachelorThe contestants fought for the heart of Joan Vassos, but they also took important “bromance” with each other.
One of the most favorite parts of the reality dating show this season there was a gathering among the men in the villa. Recalling how they all live under the same roof, the men said the dynamic between them is definitely real.
“I built a tremendous amount of friendship with those guys,” Pascal tells PEOPLE. “I learned a lot from them by being more vulnerable, by being more open, by talking more about my feelings.”

Jonathan says he researched what the show was like before entering the mansion, but he didn’t expect the brotherhood he experienced.
“I had no idea what I was getting into,” he admits. “In the past I’ve seen competition, drama, that kind of thing, but the first time, for guys in their sixties and plus, I had no idea. And from the first night, we all just hung out and there was no drama – we all laughed, we all got closer.”
Keith, who is from Indiana and stayed there for college, says the men he met on the show felt like his “fraternity brothers.” He adds: “They just reminded me of the guys I grew up with.”

Who did the most and least maintenance in the summer house?
Unsurprisingly, most of the men voted Pascal the highest maintenance in the mansion – and even Pascal himself says he agrees.
“Mark is low maintenance, I would say Keith is low maintenance,” says Pascal. “We said that most of them are not high maintenance. They are simple. How do I say this without sounding catty? They are satisfied with little. I’m not satisfied with a little, I want a lot.”
Gary also listed Mark as the lowest maintenance, but Keith says he wins that title. Jonathan, however, says his answer would be Charles, and Mark stands by Keith being the winner because he was well prepared for the experience.
“He knew so much about the show — he’d seen every episode!” Mark says.

Who gave the best advice?
In the matter of giving and receiving advice, all the men fairly helped each other. As for who did it best, everyone had different answers.
“To be honest with you, I give the best advice,” declares Pascal in all seriousness.
Meanwhile, Keith says he’d give Mark the title of best advisor, while Mark cleverly nominates Joan and Jonathan says Charles.

Which type was the most sensitive?
Each man opened further The Golden Bachelor in ways never before, they say. Pascal even reveals that his children saw him cry for the first time while watching the series.
“I have to show them that you can cry and that it’s okay to cry,” he shares. “I felt like there was a sign of weakness before the show, and when I saw those guys crying, I said, ‘I guess it’s okay. It’s okay to open up. It’s okay to have feelings.’”
However, he wouldn’t call himself the most sensitive – that label goes to Marko, who agrees. “Probably me,” he laughs.
“I think the most sensitive was my brother Jonathan,” says Gary. “He wore his heart on his sleeve.”
Meanwhile, Jonathan says that Kim was very sensitive and Keith says that Dan is.
Who made the group laugh the most?
The men shared some hilarious moments while living together. As for who was the funniest, the two seem to be tied.
“Greg made me laugh a lot,” says Pascal. “I laughed a lot with Greg, Dan, CK, my roommate. They were very funny. I think Greg was the funniest guy in the world.”
“Greg,” says Keith. “Probably Greg or Pascal made me laugh the most.”
Mark also says that Pascal, although many may not realize it, has brought a lot of laughter to the mansion. “Pascal, every day, every conversation we had, it seemed like it was just laugh, laugh, laugh,” he shares.
Gary, on the other hand, gives himself the title, saying, “I think I’d probably take that torch and run with it. So that would be me.”

Who was the best in the kitchen?
If you’re wondering whose food the crowd liked the most, it seems there were more good chefs in the kitchen.
“I have to help Charles cook a 17-course meal,” says Mark. “I cut for hours!”
“Jack was great, Mark would come in second and Charles was also very good at putting dishes together,” reveals Gary. “All three of them.”
Jonathan supports that Charles was the best cook, while Keith is sure that Jack is the winner.
“Jack away,” he says. “His lemon chicken fillet… and then he left after the second night. We said, ‘No!'”
Pascal says his opinion is a little skewed, but he knows who he would choose. “Mark cooked for me, so I don’t know anyone else,” he jokes. “Nobody wanted to cook for me.”
