Mariah Carey’s kids are naturals on stage!
The “All I Want for Christmas Is You” singer’s twins Moroccan and Monroe made a special appearance during the first night of their mom’s 2024 Christmas concert series at the Hollywood Bowl on Nov. 8, when they headlined an intermission show.
“What do you think about taking over the show while I go backstage for a bit?” Carey, 55, said at one point, turning to her children, both 13, who excitedly responded, “Really? Seriously, Mom?”
“Yes! Come on, you’re going to be great,” Carey replied, before summoning her glam squad to escort her off the stage. “You know I always need an escort,” she joked.

Moroccan then took over the drum set, while Monroe played guitar and danced.
The performance, complete with backup dancers and Christmas-red outfits, included a medley of “Let It Snow” and “Deck the Halls.”
The sibling duo then switched gears to perform a rendition of “Christmas Wrapping” by The Waitresses, where they were joined by another group of backing dancers and singers.

As they finished their performance, the twins shared their Christmas lists with the delighted crowd.
“Well, I was just hoping for a few things… nothing also Major,” Monroe said, as Moroccan teased him, “Wait, I think I remember your list! You wanted … Birkin, pink Lambo — Wow, we don’t even know how to drive! You are my mother’s child.”
Monroe then added that she wanted a Schiaparelli for Christmas, before she and her brother left the stage.
Nick Cannon Opens Up About His Insecurities About Mariah Carey: ‘Am I Mariah’s Man?’
Carey gave birth to her twins with ex-husband Nick Cannon in 2011. The duo, who married in 2008, separated in 2014 and finalized their divorce two years later.
“Whenever we can show it – even if we’re not together, [that] we love each other unconditionally — and set a good example for our kids, hopefully they’ll grow up to be good human beings,” Cannon told PEOPLE in 2018 about co-parenting with Carey.
Last year, Carey revealed to PEOPLE that watching Moroccan and Monroe grow into young adults was “actually really beautiful.”
“They are good, nice children,” she explained. “They are good-hearted people and I really enjoy being with them and watching them grow into the people they will eventually become.”
