Ipshita Chakraborty Singh is an Indian theatre and film actress. She is best known for her role as ‘Sita’ in the Indian film ‘Bhonsle’.

Ipsita Chakraborty was born in Jaipur, Rajasthan.
Ipshita completed her schooling from St. Anselm’s Pink City Senior Secondary School in Jaipur and later joined the University of Rajasthan to pursue a degree in Economics.
After this, she joined the National School of Drama (NSD) in Delhi to pursue an acting course. After graduating from NSD, Ipshita worked as a professional actor in the National School of Drama Repertory Theatre for about five years.

Ipshita Chakraborty started her career as a theatre artist in 2010. Some of her popular plays include Three Sisters, Virasat, Old Town, Dafa 292, Laila-Majnu, Khilona Nagar, Main Hun Yusuf Aur Ye Hai Mera Bhai and Makardhwajan. Ipshita directed a solo show, The Girl Who Shot the Puppy.
Ipshita made her Hindi debut in 2018 with the film Bhonsle, in which she essayed the role of ‘Sita’.
In 2020, she appeared in the films Medium Spicy and If We Had Wings.
