Saoirse Ronan may have a new role – fiancee!
The Irish actress, 29, sparked engagement rumors after she stepped out with a diamond ring on her left hand at the Louis Vuitton spring-summer 2024 womenswear show earlier in October. Ronan’s rep did not immediately respond to PEOPLE’s request for comment.

She and actor Jack Lowden, who is a co-founder of the production company Acade Pictures, dated in silence for several years.

Back in 2018, Lowden (33) spoke highly of working with Ronan on the set of the film Mary Queen of Scots.
“It was amazing working with Saoirse,” he said during a panel with AOL. “The woman is a force of nature on and off the screen and she’s also completely fearless and a brilliant presenter. Considering I’m 24, it’s just amazing to me, not only her work but how she is on set is amazing. ”
He repeated the same sentiments while talking to Esquire UK in February about their work as producers in the adaptation of Amy Liptrot’s memoir The Outrun.

“We finished filming in October last year, but it’s been a great adventure. Saoirse, first of all, is one of the best actresses in the world, so it’s been great to work with her in that way and help out in any way I can. I hope is the first of many – it’s been wonderful,” Lowden said of Ronan, who also portrays Liptrot in the film.
The actor also described how he and Ronan have similar mindsets when it comes to projects they want to tackle.

“We just want to do what we believe in, so we haven’t set any particular parameters around it. But Saoirse and I are fascinated by the countries we come from, so we’ll always keep an eye on them Irish and Scottish things because we’re both obsessed with that,” he said. Lowden, who grew up in the Scottish village of Oxton.
Ronan offered a little insight into their relationship when he responded to Lowden’s comment that she was the acting equivalent of a Ferrari in a September interview with Harper’s Bazaar UK.

“When a person you respect as much as I say that, it means more than someone else’s opinion,” she said.
Ronan’s latest project — a sci-fi-infused film titled Paul Mescal Foe — premiered on October 6.
