Gadhvi started her career with a show titled “Yojana” on Doordarshan. In 2007, he joined ETV Gujarat as a field reporter in Porbandar and worked there till 2011. On ETV, he was popular for exposing the Rs. Illegal deforestation scam in Dang and Kaparada talukas of Gujarat worth Rs 150 crore. During his tenure as a field reporter, he worked in various locations across Gujarat, including Vapi, Porbandar, Jamnagar, Ahmedabad and Gandhinagar. In 2015, he joined VTV Gujarati and hosted the prime time television show Mahamanthan, becoming the youngest channel head in Gujarati media. In the show, he discussed various social issues with guests. The show’s ratings increased significantly, and the show’s duration was extended from one hour to one and a half hours. Gadvi earned the title of “people’s journalist” or “khedut no patrakaar” (rural mass journalist) for discussing farmers’ issues on the show.
