Jack Antonoff Steps Out with Wife Margaret Qualley for 2024 VMAs, Where's He's Up for Two Awards with Taylor Swift  

Jack Antonoff and Margaret Qualley made the VMAs a date night.

The musician and actress, who tied the knot in August 2023, were all smiles as they arrived at the 2024 MTV Video Music Awards on Wednesday (September 11) at the UBS Arena in New York City.

The pair arrived in matching looks, with Antonoff, 40, wearing a burnt orange button-up, a pair of black trousers, a black woven belt and his signature round-rimmed glasses. Meanwhile, Girl star, 29, wore a black velvet dress with a plunging V-neck lined with tulle. Her drop-waisted skirt was made of a feathery material that flared out in an A-line silhouette.

Antonoff’s performance at the MTV Awards comes on the heels of two nominations with frequent collaborator Taylor Swift. Antonoff, Swift and Post Malone are nominated for Song of the Year and Best Collaboration for their work on “Fortnight,” from Swift’s latest album, Department for tortured poets.

In addition to Swift’s two nominations with Antonoff, the “Clara Bow” singer, 34, is nominated for an additional eight awards. For “Fortnight” alone, it was nominated in an additional five other categories, for Video of the Year, Best Art Direction, Best Visual Effects, Best Cinematography, Best Editing and Best Direction. Swift is also nominated for Artist of the Year and Best Pop.

The acclaimed music producer also worked with nominee Sabrina Carptener on her second single, “Please Please Please” from her third studio album, Short and sweet. The song itself was nominated in two categories: best direction and best art direction. Carpenter, 25, was nominated for six awards at this year’s show,

“It’s wild,” Antonoff said of the success he’s had with both pop stars over the years Today performance on Thursday, July 4. He also called Swift’s success TTPD “crazy.”
