Jack Black Surprises Jonas Brothers Crowd with Performance of Super Mario Song: ‘Are You Not Entertained?’

The Jonas Brothers may have to make room for a fourth member after a surprise Saturday night in New York City!

During the last date in 2023 of the group’s ‘Five albums. One night.’ tour at the Barclays Center in Brooklyn, Jack Black appeared from center stage for a surprise performance of “Peaches” Movie Super Mario Bros sound track.

Black, 54, came ready to sing dressed as Bowser – the same character who sang his standout hit from the animated film. The song peaked at No. 56 on the Billboard Hot 100 earlier this year.

Appearing alongside a pianist dressed as Toad, Black had one question for the audience: “Aren’t you having fun?”

“Hey, I just want to say, ever since I was in the jungles of Jumanji, I’ve been a huge fan,” Black told the crowd after his performance after the break. “And I’m so proud to call them my friends.”

“Ladies and gentlemen, give it up… for the Jonas Brothers,” he shouted to thunderous applause.

After Black took to the bottom of the stage at Barclays and an additional surprise appearance from Ryan Tedder, the Jonas Brothers wrapped up their final US tour of the year. The tour will continue overseas in February, starting in New Zealand.

Nick, Joe and Kevin Jonas opened up to PEOPLE in August about hitting the road this year, which marked their first time as three fathers on tour. Kevin (36) shares Valentina (7) and Alena (9) with his wife Danielle Jonas, and Joe (34) is the father of daughters Willa (3) and Delphine (1) with his ex-wife Sophie Turner. Nick and wife Priyanka Chopra welcomed a daughter, Malti Marie, in January 2022.

“It’s just about being present at every possible moment,” Nick, 31, said of his first-time dad on the road. “Especially for me, I try my best to always be there when I can, but it’s different for everyone.”

“And we’ve been doing that for a long time, making music and being on the road. So it’s part of our DNA. Nothing is foreign,” he added.
