Kristin Cavallari and Jay Cutler's 3 Kids: All About Camden, Jaxon and Saylor

Kristin Cavallari and Jay Cutler are proud co-parents of their three children.

The former couple welcomed their first child, Camden, in 2012 and married the following year. Jaxon joined the family in 2014, and Cavallari and Cutler announced the birth of their third child, Saylor, in 2015.

Founder of The Uncommon James and former NFL player split in April 2020 after nearly seven years of marriage and 10 years together. Announcing the news on Instagram, Cavallari initially said their breakup was “just a situation where two people break up.”

More recently, the reality star said that while she was “really unhappy” in her relationship, she refrained from speaking negatively about her ex in public out of respect for her and Cutler’s children.

“Because I have three children with him, I’m very careful what I say. If you and I didn’t have microphones in front of us, I would have told you that, but you know, it’s their dad and my oldest is now Googling us, and I just want to be very careful,” Cavallari said in the August 2022 episode. When it comes to co-parenting, they both talked about how they manage it. “It’s good,” Cutler said Hey! News in June 2021. “We did a good job putting them first.” In the same year, in an interview with Grazia magazinethe mother of three children added that she looks up to her own parents’ divorce.

“Never put the kids in the middle of it, no matter how angry you are at your ex-spouse. One thing my mom did was she never said anything bad about my dad,” Cavallari said. “Now that I’m older, I really respect that. I always want my kids to see Jay and me as a united front. He’s their father. That’s important and they need to see that from me.”

The former couple, who now share joint custody of their children, also seem to agree on not showing their children’s faces on social media.

“Every year it gets harder and harder to come up with creative ways to hide my face so I can post a picture on their birthday (yes, I realize many of you don’t get this—I want my kids to choose to be on social media instead of me doing it for them) ,” Hills alum explained on Instagram in May 2022.

Camden Jack, 12

Cavallari and Cutler became parents on August 8, 2012, with the arrival of their first-born son, Camden Jack.

“We are thrilled to welcome Camden Jack Cutler into the world,” the new mom posted on Twitter (now known as X). “He was born this morning weighing 7 lbs. 9 oz. Everyone is doing great!”

Cavallari later shared that Cutler had a front row seat at Camden’s birth despite her initial wish that he not watch.

“I was like, ‘You’re going to be behind me. You’re not going to see anything,'” she said Hey!Giuliana Rancic 2013 But the nurses had other plans, Cavallari added. “At that moment I thought: “Whatever”. So he held my leg – he saw the whole thing,” she said.

Much like his thieving reality TV mother, Camden developed quite the personality as he grew up. In December 2022, Cavallari shared a cute video of her and Camden cooking her pasta bolognese Real comfort cook.

“This kid is killing me,” she captioned a snap of Camden squirming in front of the stove while stirring a pot.

Last October, Cavallari discovered that Camden had stolen a pair of her white sneakers that she wore to school. “So I definitely didn’t think the first kid to steal my shoes would be Camden, but here we are,” she captioned a snap of her oldest child while showing off her kicks.

On her 11th birthday in August 2023, Cavallari shared more about her oldest child’s personality. “Watching you grow into the most amazing young man is such a gift. You are pure love and light and I am grateful for you every day,” she wrote on Instagram.

Jaxon Wyatt, 10

Almost two years after Camden’s arrival, Cavallari and Cutler welcomed their second son, Jaxon Wyatt, on May 7, 2014.

“Welcome Jaxon Wyatt Cutler 7 lbs., 11 oz. 5/7/14,” the new mom wrote on Instagram alongside a photo of her hospital bracelet and baby booties.

“The second time you know exactly what to expect and we’re ready,” Cavallari told PEOPLE ahead of the birth. “Hey, I say, ‘Let’s get him out here, I want to see him, I just want to hold him and see what he looks like.’ I’m just really excited more than anything.”

Although Cavallari and Cutler divorced when Jaxon was young, the former couple has devoted themselves to spending as much time as possible with their children. A year after their split, The Very Cavallari the star revealed that during her “free weeks”, when the children are with their dad, she takes them out one by one for quality bonding. On one of Jaxon’s dates, he dressed to impress.

“I’ve been taking one kid at a time during the off weeks and last night it was Jaxon’s turn,” Cavallari wrote on Instagram in April 2021. “This kid is killing me – he wore a suit and bow tie with classic shoes and was the best the little date I could have wished for. It made me smile the whole time to be able to spend time alone with my babies.”

Jaxon even took an interest in his mother’s love life, which she documented on Instagram in June 2022. “I get dating advice from my boys,” Cavallari said in a video in which she covered her boys’ faces with emojis. “Jaxon just said I need to date someone older.” When she asked him why, he replied: “Young people are crazy.”

In May 2024, Cavallari celebrated Jaxon’s 10th birthday with a post on her Instagram Stories that featured a throwback photo of her son kissing his mom when he was a toddler.

“Happy birthday to my bull, Jaxy!” she wrote. “I love you to the moon, my dear.”

Saylor James, 8

Cavallari and Cutler welcomed their third child, daughter Saylor James, on November 23, 2015.

“She will steal Jay’s heart, which in turn will melt mine!” the reality star said American baby magazine in 2015. “I’m excited for the boys to grow up with a sister. I think it will help them understand and respect women better.”

In February 2021, the mom of three shared a sweet snap of her daughter cooking together, looking back on their special solo moment. “Saylor gets out of school an hour before the boys so we always have girl time,” she captioned the photo. “This is the last few months before my baby starts kindergarten so I’m soaking it up. Chocolate chip cookies today with my best friend.”

Sayler and Cavallari celebrated another milestone in their mother-daughter relationship in April 2022: They pierced Saylor’s ears. Cavallari shared the big news on her Instagram Story, posting a photo of her youngest’s new diamond studs and writing that she was a “champion” during the process.

On Saylora’s 8th birthday, Cavallari revealed that her daughter, despite being the youngest, could hold her own with her siblings.

“… you have the ability to nurture and care for everyone you love while also holding your own (especially with your older brothers),” she wrote on Instagram in November 2023. “You are my favorite girl in my life s. I am the happiest that I’m your mom.”
