Wedding with a lover from college
Mike, the better half of Jacqui Jeras, recently graduated as a pilot. Jacqui and Mike first met in college. At the time, Mike was studying Aerospace Engineer, also a Young Alumnus Award winner, and Jacqui was completing her BA in Journalism and Mass Communication at Lowa State University. Husband, devoted support
Aurora had a difficult year in 2013, because she underwent breast cancer surgery to save her life. Cancer is a genetic concern for her family, caused by a lack of a BRCA gene mutation. Her sister, mother, grandmother and aunt all died as a result of this deadly disease. She had two mastectomies (breast surgery in which women’s breasts are removed) and made a full recovery with fresh silicone implants.
Although she was not diagnosed with cancer, she decided to have this operation because there was a high possibility of developing cancer. Initially, she had a mastectomy. A week later, she had another operation after a growth on her tissue was discovered, which had a 15% risk of becoming malignant. During this challenging moment, her husband supports her choice and stands behind her as a loving pillar.
Two lovely young men
The couple has two lovely children. The first is Aurora, a daughter named after the northern lights, Aurora Borealis. Next is Ashton, the son who is an athlete and enjoys riding motorbikes. He is her mother’s biggest supporter, according to her website. Jacqui’s reputation is growing thanks to her work on The Weather Channel. She is talented and has won several awards.
