The pleated floor-length design featured a thigh-high slit and side cutouts for maximum skin exposure. The dress also features straps and a belt made of metal hardware for an extra dose of edginess.
Pinkett Smith, now 52, wore the dress almost exactly the same way she did two decades ago.

The only adjustments she made to her styling were statement earrings, a silver bracelet and a pair of modest heels as opposed to the lace-up pair she first wore.

This isn’t the first time Pinkett Smith has dipped into her own wardrobe for a red carpet look.
Even when she and I Am Legend actor had a dinner date at the 2022 Screen Actors Guild Awards, she shopped her own wardrobe, choosing a vintage navy dress with a high neck and full skirt.
“It’s something I bought a while ago,” Jada told Laverne Cox on E! Live from the Red Carpet in that time. “I had it in my closet and I said, you know what, I think the girl is ready for the SAG Awards.”
