Adrienne Banfield-Norris defies age!
The Talk about the red table The co-host celebrated the milestone birthday on Wednesday, which daughter Jada Pinkett Smith marked with a set of photos from the celebration that included Jada’s husband Will Smith and their children Jaden, 25, and Willow, 22, along with Will’s son Trey, 30.
Jada, 52, can be seen hugging her mum in the first two pictures, while family members including Willow, Trey and Will, 55, cheer on in the background.
The rest of the footage shows Banfield-Norris seemingly giving a speech over a microphone while standing in front of her two-tiered red and gold cake, with attendees clapping and more.
“Gammy turned 70 yesterday!!!” Jada wrote in the caption of her Instagram post from Thursday. “Gam Bam you look like you’re 30! We’ll be celebrating all year long! I love you!!! Happy birthday again!😘♥️ @gammynorris.”

‘Red Table Talk’ host Adrienne Banfield-Norris on her love language: ‘And don’t forget the toys’
Banfield-Norris is close to Jada and Willow, having hosted the popular talk show Talk about the red table with daughter and granddaughter since 2018.
The former nurse has also offered key advice to Jada over the years. For example, when Jada was 20 years old, she traveled to Italy and almost accepted a stranger’s invitation to board his boat. Fortunately, she called her mother first to check on that decision.
Banfield-Norris said further Talk about the red table 2022 that she told her daughter at the time, “You’re not going on the boat with anybody,” adding, “If something happens to you, nobody’s going to hear you. You’re going to be in the middle of nowhere. Don’t — Jada!”
Jada’s mother also stepped in to help with business situations. When Jada starred in a medical drama HawthoRNeher mother objected to the way medical practices were portrayed on the show – and the medical advisory team changed as a result.
“There were some minor things about the care and the care techniques that were unusual,” Banfield-Norris said. AFRO 2010. “I would [Jada] my suggestions and actually what she did at the end of the season was kind of revamp her medical advisory team.”

But Banfield-Norris and her daughter haven’t always had the easiest relationship, partly because of her past drug use.
“I had parents who were drug addicts,” Jada told PEOPLE for the recent cover release of her new memoir, Worthy. “Not to have [a healthy] The foundation, as I would find out in my adulthood, had some really powerful effects on how I saw myself.”
Despite their early struggles, she and Banfield-Norris have developed a close bond today. Jada even posted an adorable tribute to her mom on Instagram for Mother’s Day 2021.
“Thank you Great Divine for my mother Adrienne,” she wrote. “You have blessed me with a PERFECT Mother. She provided me with… EVERYTHING you intended.”
