Jake Flint A Red Dirt country Singer Passed Away At The Age Of 37

Following his marriage to Brenda Wilson, popular country singer Jake Flint may have imagined a bright future. But that is no longer the case since the artist died peacefully in his sleep on Saturday, November 26, only hours after his wedding. Cliff Doyal, Flint’s publicist, broke the news, adding he was also a dear friend, and that the tributes on social media prove that everyone loved him. Doyal continued:

“I believe a lot of it was because he was a people person with a great sense of humor. He made everyone laugh and made everyone feel at ease.”

The following day, Flint’s manager Brenda Cline paid homage to him, stating that she was not in a position to comment on Flint’s abrupt death. Brenda asked everyone to pray for his family and friends, saying they had a lot to cope with following his passing. The reason for his death has yet to be disclosed.

On Twitter, people pay homage to Jake Flint.

The 37-year-old singer-songwriter rose to prominence in the music business with hits such as What’s Your Name, Long Road Back Home, CowTown, and Fireline. Jake Flint was a well-known singer-songwriter.

The Hallelujah vocalist was born in Holdenville, South Eastern Oklahoma, in 1985, and subsequently relocated to Tulsa, Oklahoma. Following his father’s diagnosis of Lou Gherig’s Disease, he was sent to learn to play the guitar with the help of his father’s friends. He grew interested in bluegrass music and began following various jam bands as well as Texas and Oklahoma musicians. Bob Childers, McClure, Tom Skinner, Boland, and other songwriters inspired Flint greatly. He used to travel across Oklahoma, Texas, and other states with his band.

His first album, I’m Not Okay, was published in 2016, and he has since released further CDs such as Live and Not OK at Cain’s Ballroom, Jake Flint, and Love and Socially Distanced at the Mercury Lounge. In 2018, he even appeared at the Texas Regional Radio Music Awards’ Future Faces Show.
