Mary keeps herself aloof compared to her older brother. She has made several public appearances with her father over the years, including attending the 2020 premieres. Sonic the Hedgehog and in 2022 Sonic the Hedgehog 2 along with his father and younger brother William.

Although Marsden rarely shows his daughter on social media, over the years he has posted several photo and video memories of Mary, documenting sweet moments from her childhood.

Ahead of Mary’s 18th birthday in 2023, Marsden showed off his daughter’s natural talent for music by sharing a throwback video of her playing the drums. In the clip, Marsden encouraged his daughter before joining her in playing “Lose Yourself” by Eminem.

“It’s hard to believe that the little five-year-old drummer is turning 18 in just a few hours!” wrote the actor in the description. “Happy birthday, angel. ❤️.”
