James Marsden’s 50th Birthday Party Included a Cake with His Shirtless Photo — and Ronald from ‘Jury Duty’!

James Marsden celebrated half a century with a real cake!

Emmy nomination Jury duty actor marked his 50th birthday on Monday with a star-studded party thrown by Casamigos, which included a cake featuring a shirtless photo of Marsden from his modeling days.

Marsden shared a black and white photo of himself smiling next to his birthday treat, along with a close-up of the white frosted dessert. He added three clapping emoticons to signify a job well done.

A photo of Marsden was surrounded by a black border and gold candles, including the numbers 5 and 0. “Happy 50th birthday JAMES!” is written below.

Notebook the actor also reposted several of his guests’ Instagram stories about the eye-catching cake, one of which was a video of Marsden blowing out the candles on the birthday cake while partygoers sang “Happy Birthday.”

Funnily enough, Marsden’s cake wasn’t the only personalized gift he received. He also received a mug with a hilarious collage of his face, as seen on Tessa Thompson’s Instagram Story.

Marsden made sure to thank Casamigos for his party at the Sheats-Goldstein residence in Los Angeles, which he also showed on his Instagram Story.

“Big thanks to @casamigos and @rachelzaliz for keeping the party going strong and the drinks flowing late,” he wrote above a shot of him happily holding a drink at the bar at the venue.

After that, 27 Dresses star posted a photo of the “James Birthday Cocktails” list, which features a cucumber jalapeño margarita, passionfruit margarita and casa ranch water.

Shake Shack sliders were also served at his birthday party with wrappers emblazoned with “Marsden turns 50” stickers.

“@shakesshack with a burger drop 🙏,” the actor wrote on his Instagram Story.

Celebrity guests at Marsden’s 50th birthday bash included Thompson, Woody Harrelson, Natasha Lyonne, Ben Barnes and Aaron Paul, who could be seen in one photo hugging Marsden while holding a personalized mug.

Marsden’s Jury duty Costar Ronald Gladden was also at the party.

Following the July announcement of Freevee’s four Emmy nominations, including his for Outstanding Supporting Actor in a Comedy Series, Marsden exclusively told PEOPLE at the time that he called Gladden first when he heard the news.

“I just wanted it to be my first call and make sure he was still enjoying all of this and felt like we were all going through this together,” Marsden said. He added that Gladden – who was the only cast member who didn’t know the show was a fake documentary – was “over the top”.
