Jamie Lee Curtis knows how to be a supportive friend.
On Friday, November 22, the actress marked her 66th birthday by sharing a bare-faced photo on Instagram in honor of her The last showgirl costar, Pamela Anderson’s no-makeup move.
“Just a selfie in the shower. Tribute to @pamelaanderson @lastshowgirl and her no-makeup self-ownership. Sober. Strong. Steadfast,” she wrote of the movement that started after Anderson, 57, stepped out makeup-free at the Isabel Marant Spring Womenswear Show /summer 2024 during Paris Fashion Week.

The post showed the Oscar winner smiling from ear to ear as she looked directly into the camera while wearing a white turtleneck sweater.
“Let’s F—— GO 66! I just noticed it looks like I have mascara on, apparently leftover from my work day yesterday. Clearly mom didn’t wash her face properly,” Curtis’ caption continued .
The last showgirl follows Anderson as Shelley, a seasoned entertainer in her 50s who is tasked with making tough decisions about her future after her Las Vegas show abruptly closes after 30 years of running.

At the film’s premiere at the Toronto International Film Festival in September, Curtis further praised Anderson, telling PEOPLE that she “made the movie because she’s going to be in the movie.”

Curtis worked around planning the conflicts she had to take on the project, as she shared with PEOPLE about Anderson: “I love the way she walks through the BS of show business and says, ‘I don’t need to play your game. And I respect her for that so deeply.”

The last showgirl is in select theaters on December 13th, then nationwide on January 10th. Curtis also stars in the upcoming film Fucking Friday sequel, Crazy Fridaywhich is due out on August 8, 2025.
