Jasmine Chiswell, the TikTok star known for her vintage-style videos, was criticized for a video in which she appeared to be laughing at a smeared image of the University of Wisconsin volleyball team. Chiswell, who has more than 16 million followers on TikTok, shared the video with the caption:
“Recently my husband and I had a big argument, and he said he was moving to Wisconsin to play volleyball.”
Despite the fact that the video has since been removed, another TikToker, Ms Ryan, linked Chiswell’s video and said she didn’t understand the meaning of the joke. On October 20, 2022, the organization released a statement saying the photos were “never intended for public release.” According to the statement, “unauthorized disclosure is a flagrant and illegal violation of a student’s right to privacy.”
