Michelle Williams’ Christmas is looking modest this year.
In an exclusive interview with PEOPLE, the actress/singer — who currently stars in the Death becomes her on Broadway — opened up about her vacation plans and why she’s “not doing anything” this year.
“We actually have Christmas Eve and Christmas off,” Williams, 45, tells PEOPLE of Broadway shows. – I don’t know what I’m going to do yet because I don’t know if I want to be at the airport on those days.

She also explains that she has to return to her role as Viola Van Horn in the day after Christmas Death becomes her.
“Those two days are a joke to me because I would have to leave here on Christmas Eve, [and] I would have to go back on Christmas Day to prepare for two shows the next day, she explains. – It doesn’t look like I’m going anywhere, that I’m doing anything.
Williams also recently told PEOPLE what it was like when her Destiny’s Child bandmates Beyoncé and Kelly Rowland reunited for the opening night of her current show.
“It was a real pleasure to have them there because I know they are fans of the film,” she said.
Williams also revealed that Beyoncé, 43, and Rowland, 43, often end up “trading movie lines they know.”
For the “Heard a Word” singer, having the couple at her big night helped her feel “anchored.”
“Obviously we haven’t toured together in years, but it brought me back to when I was on stage with them,” she said. “Even though they weren’t on stage with me, I felt so grounded. It gives me some fuel for the rest of my performance.”
