Jason Kelce and Stevie Nicks Team Up for Holiday Duet 'Maybe This Christmas': Listen

The duet of Jason Kelce and Stevie Nicks has arrived!

After weeks of teasing the collaboration, the pair released a cover of Ron Sexsmith’s “Maybe This Christmas” on Friday, November 8. The festive song will be featured on Jason’s annual Philadelphia-themed album, A special Christmas party in Philly.

“Maybe this Christmas will mean something more / Maybe this year love will come / Deeper than ever before,” sings Jason in the song written by Sexsmith and Charles Bolt.

Nicks’ lyrics include: “Maybe forgiveness will ask us to call / Someone we love, someone we’ve lost / For reasons we can’t quite remember.”

“Maybe the door will be open / Maybe the star that shone before / Will shine once more,” they sing together.

The track’s announcement comes after Jason raved about his collaboration with the Fleetwood Mac icon while speaking on the October 30 episode New heights with Jason and Travis Kelce podcast.

“You have to work with Stevie Nicks!” Travis Kelce said and Jason replied, “Yeah, baby. The legendary Stevie Nicks came in and did a duet with me.”

“Which in itself is pretty crazy to be on a track with Stevie Nicks. I mean, absolutely unreal,” the retired Philadelphia Eagles player continued.

“[She’s] probably the most legendary singer, especially of her generation… [and so] the fact that I’m singing this legend with her is pretty unreal,” added Jason.

The New heights podcast first teased a possible duet in an Oct. 2 Instagram post, sharing a photo of Jason and Nicks seemingly in a recording studio.

“The crossover we didn’t know we needed,” read the headline. “Soon in a Christmas album near you 👀🎄”

The collaboration between Jason and Nicks isn’t a complete coincidence, as the “Edge of Seventeen” hitmaker’s friendship with Taylor Swift — who is dating Travis — goes way back.

Jason is set to release his third annual Christmas album, A special Christmas party in Phillywith his former teammates Jordan Mailat and Lane Johnson on Nov. 22, with all proceeds going to the Philadelphia-based charity.
