Wherever Jason Kelce goes, his flip-flops are with him every step of the way.
It’s not uncommon to see the 36-year-old Philadelphia Eagles player wearing his favorite brown sandals year-round, whether it’s to football practice, an event or a family get-together at Disney World — and he doesn’t plan on giving up the shoes anytime soon.
“Now it’s become a thing,” the father of three told brother Travis Kelce, 34, on the latest episode of their New heights podcast.
“You’ve had the same pair for what, a decade?” the Chiefs tight end asked. Jason confirmed that he has worn the same style for many years, but has only had to replace his favorite shoe once since buying them, which is a testament to their quality. “They had a few miles on them,” he said of his broken pair.
For any fans wondering about Jason’s style, his footwear of choice is the OluKai Mea Ola leather sandals, available on the brand’s website as well as amazon.com for $130.
In a convincing review of “quality” flip-flops, he praised the arch support and appearance the most.

“I didn’t think you cared about looking pretty, that’s all,” Travis joked, to which Jason replied, “If it’s functional, good quality, and looks good, I’m all for it.”
The same standards apply to his clothes. In the viral video, which was later mocked by Jason’s teammate Lane Johnson, Jason wears skinny jeans, a green V-neck shirt and his thong sandals – and notes that he’s not looking for praise for his fashion choices.
“I don’t care about game day,” Jason says in a TikTok video of himself arriving at the game in the aforementioned look.

His antics definitely raised the energy among fans and Taylor Swift, who cheered Travis on from the apartment they shared. But his wife, Kylie Kelce, whose calm expression later went viral, wasn’t so thrilled.
“I don’t think she was happy about it, to be honest with you,” Jason said of Kylie on a previous episode of the podcast, noting that she wanted him to be “on his best behavior” in front of the Grammy winner.
But Jason can’t help but pull out his best tricks because, as he said, “this is part of the charm of Jason Kelce.”
