In a video taken at the event that he shared party tonight photographers repeatedly asked Ryder, 52, to pose for photos without sunglasses, even though she looked comfortable wearing them.
The Stranger Things star considered taking off her glasses — until Ortega assured her it was perfectly fine to leave them on if she wanted. In the clip, Wednesday the actress said, “No, you don’t have to.”

“She was so warm and welcoming and kind and inviting from the very beginning, and I couldn’t be more grateful,” Ortega said, adding that the veteran actress made her feel “beautiful and special.”
