Jenna Ortega Wears All-White Blazer Mini Dress for Finestkind Premiere

Jenna Ortega knows how to make a mark on the red carpet.

The 21-year-old actress made her ceremonial entrance to the premiere of her latest film, Finestkind. Ortega attended an event at the Pacific Design Center in West Hollywood, California on Tuesday night wearing a structured mini dress with a head-turning white lace trim.

Her dress went perfectly with the light blue and white backdrop for the first film.

In keeping with the theme of the delicate design of the dress, Wednesday the star wore her hair styled with highlights while the rest was pulled back and away from her face.

Her daring yet sophisticated jewelry consisted of silver earrings, one necklace, several rings and a bracelet. Her nails were manicured in an off-white tone. She completed her premiere look with closed salons.

The Paramount+ film “tells the story of two brothers, raised in different worlds, who reunite as adults during a fateful summer” and is set against the backdrop of commercial fishing, according to the synopsis. The brothers — played by Ben Foster and Toby Wallace — are forced to make a deal with a violent Boston crime gang, and Ortega’s character is caught in the middle.

The project was written and directed by Brian Helgeland and also stars Tommy Lee Jones, Ismael Cruz Cordova, Aaron Stanford, Scotty Tovar, Tim Daly, Lolita Davidovich and Clayne Crawford.

Ortega’s appearance on the red carpet is proof that she is not afraid to experiment with her film roles or fashion. It opened earlier this year Vogue about embracing the Gothic style during filming Wednesday.

“I’ve always respected goth culture. I’ve always had a darker sense of humor, but I never felt like I could express it. Now I feel like I can embrace those qualities in myself,” she said.

Ortega played Wednesday Addams on the hit Netflix series and told the publication that the role also inspired the hair change.

“Until then, I was very, very attached to my long hair. The change encouraged me to be more adventurous; to experiment and be more creative in that way,” she told Vogue.
